Position Summary:
The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on promoting and positioning Emerson’s Flow Control portfolio, including control valves, instruments, services, and solutions, primarily within chemical, petrochemical, metals, and mining industries. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role partners closely with customers to understand their business priorities and deliver value‑based solutions that support long‑term success.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and business objectives within the assigned territory and accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Position Emerson as a preferred partner by clearly communicating value propositions, technical differentiation, and solution benefits.
- Identify, develop, and advance sales opportunities by aligning customer needs with appropriate products, services, and solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive account and site plans across the Flow Controls portfolio.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, growth plans, market insights, pricing inputs, and competitive intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with other Emerson teams to support coordinated customer engagement and portfolio pull-through.
- Support the development and execution of long-term service, spare parts, and turnaround agreements.
- Work with local business partners to identify competitive displacement opportunities and drive upgrades.
- Ensure all business activities comply with Emerson’s ethics, trade compliance, and governance requirements.
- Track and manage sales performance metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Support order follow-up and closure activities to ensure customer satisfaction and timely execution

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in technical sales within industrial or process industries.
- Solid understanding of control valves or flow control technologies and their applications.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive business growth.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Willingness to be based in Yanbu and support customers across the Western Region
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience selling into chemical, petrochemical, metals, or mining industries.
- Familiarity with regional market dynamics in Western Saudi Arabia.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic. Experience working with distributors or local business partners
