We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development, performance tuning, database requirements analysis, and technical documentation.

Role Summary

The Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle database solutions while translating business and user requirements into effective database designs and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle PL/SQL database solutions.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries to support business and application requirements.
• Develop advanced PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and identify optimization opportunities.
• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into clear database requirements.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Review existing SQL and PL/SQL code and recommend improvements for performance and maintainability.
• Prepare and maintain functional and technical specifications.
• Support application teams with database development and integration requirements.
• Maintain source code and database scripts using version control tools such as Git.
• Conduct technical analysis and support resolution of complex development issues.
• Ensure database development follows approved coding, documentation, and development standards.
• Collaborate with application developers, database administrators, business analysts, and other technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or another IT-related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in PL/SQL programming.
• Strong ability to develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning.
• Experience analyzing user requirements and translating them into database requirements.
• Ability to prepare clear functional and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with source-code versioning tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
