Operations Manager, Women's Garment Factory

About The Role

Our client is a women's tailoring factory in Riyadh specialising in evening dresses and women's fashion. They are hiring an Operations Manager to run the factory day to day: production, people, quality and deadlines. You do not need to be a tailor yourself, but you must have actually run a women's tailoring workshop or factory, with a multinational team, under delivery pressure. Performance is measured by on-time delivery, defect and return rates, team productivity and cost per piece. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site; candidates relocate from Syria).

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily factory operations from order intake to delivery.
• Plan production, allocate work across the tailors and track productivity.
• Set and enforce quality and finishing standards at every stage.
• Manage the team: attendance, training, appraisal and problem solving.
• Manage fabric and materials stock and coordinate with suppliers.
• Control costs and report regularly on production, quality and deadlines.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in women's garment factories or tailoring workshops.
• Proven experience managing a production team and supervisors.
• Experience in evening dresses or high-end women's fashion.
• Knowledge of the full production cycle: pattern making, cutting, sewing, finishing and quality control.
• Able to plan production and track cost and stock.
• Ready to relocate to Riyadh, with a valid passport.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multinational teams.
• Previous work experience in the Gulf.
• Excel or production planning software.
• Qualification in fashion design or industrial management.
  
  
  

What We Offer

• Salary of SAR 6,000 to 8,000 per month, based on experience.
• Saudi residency (iqama) and health insurance.
