Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will support operational efficiency by ensuring machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
• Experience working with industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
