JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Cataloging Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data within our clients’ SAP MDG environments. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data quality, improving data governance, and supporting business processes through effective cataloging practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data cataloging strategies within SAP MDG.
  • Analyze and interpret business requirements to define data standards and specifications.
  • Create and maintain material master data, vendor master data, and other relevant master data objects.
  • Utilize SAP MDG functionalities for data validation, enrichment, and governance.
  • Perform data cleansing and data migration activities (is a plus).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data cataloging processes and procedures particularly in Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues related to Spare Part Data Package (SPDP).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and efficiency.

MY PROFILE

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data cataloging and master data management.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining material master data, vendor master data, and other master data objects.
  • Experience with data cleansing, data migration, and data validation techniques (is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
