HanmiGlobal Saudi is seeking a dedicated Materials Engineer to support our construction projects by ensuring the quality and suitability of materials used. The Materials Engineer will assist in the selection, testing, and monitoring of materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and close collaboration with project and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection and approval of construction materials according to project requirements.
  • Coordinate material testing activities and analyze test results to verify conformity.
  • Review material submittals and certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Support quality control processes by inspecting materials on-site and in the laboratory.
  • Document material quality records and prepare reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and laboratories to resolve material-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards related to materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in materials engineering within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Knowledge of material testing methods, quality control, and relevant standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, codes, and safety regulations.
