JOB PURPOSE

The Content Creation Intern will support the development and execution of digital content for our brands. This role is focused on learning how to create engaging, culturally relevant content across social media platforms while building foundational skills in content creation, analytics, and digital marketing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to content ideation by researching trends, cultural moments, and platform-specific formats (e.g., TikTok, Instagram)
  • Support the development of content calendars aligned with ongoing brand campaigns and priorities
  • Create and draft content assets including social captions, basic scripts, and visual briefs for creators or agencies
  • Work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to coordinate timely delivery of content
  • Review content to ensure alignment with brand tone of voice, guidelines, and campaign objectives
  • Support execution of content across platforms, including uploading, tagging, and optimisation
  • Analyse basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, views) and highlight key trends or learnings
  • Contribute to improving content effectiveness by suggesting ideas based on performance insights
  • Stay updated on beauty and social trends, bringing fresh ideas into team discussions

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Education & Experience

  • Recent graduate or final-year student (Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred)
  • Interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Any internship, project work, or personal content creation experience is a plus

Skills

  • Content & Storytelling skills (ability to create simple content ideas, copywriting, understanding brand tone and aesthetics)
  • Basic Consumer & Trend Awareness
  • Digital & Social Media fluency (TikTok, IG, Snapchat): Strong interest in social media platforms and trends
  • Basic understanding of content formats (images, videos, captions)
  • Creativity and willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
