We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

As a Managing Partner (MP), you will act as the primary leader responsible for building deep, value-driven strategic relationships with one of SAP's most important customers in the Energy and Oil & Gas industry. Based in Saudi Arabia, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, market dynamics, and transformation priorities — including upstream, downstream, and corporate operations — leveraging a strong internal SAP network and partner ecosystem.

By executing the Strategic Customer Program (SCP) Methodology, you will deliver differentiated value, drive customer success, and enable long-term business and digital transformation across one of the world's largest integrated energy companies.

What You Will Do

  • Drive deep, trusted relationships with customer C-level executives and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between their strategic business priorities and SAP's Energy and Oil & Gas solutions.
  • Define and co-create a strategic roadmap focused on sustainable business outcomes, digital transformation, upstream and downstream operations modernization, asset performance management, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the execution of the SAP Strategic Customer Program (SCP) by orchestrating a cross-functional Extended Account Team, ensuring a unified 'one-team' approach across all customer touchpoints — including corporate, upstream, downstream, and affiliate entities.
  • Foster a high-performance culture based on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, identifying new opportunities to create value and drive growth across the full spectrum of Energy and Oil & Gas operations.
  • Establish and facilitate multi-level governance frameworks that align SAP, SAP Ecosystem, technology partners, and customer leadership to deliver measurable business impact across a complex, globally integrated organisation.
  • Support the expansion of SAP's footprint by leveraging the full SAP solution portfolio — including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, EAM, IBP, and Sustainability solutions — working closely with system integrators, hyperscalers, technology partners, and strategy consulting firms serving the Energy sector.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive and extended VAT team to drive sales execution, with a strong focus on net bookings and cloud revenue growth through strategic account planning, business development, and strong adoption outcomes across corporate and affiliate entities.
  • Manage and increase adoption and consumption of SAP Cloud services, while protecting and growing overall cloud revenues across one of SAP's most strategic global accounts.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior executives, reviewing KPIs, value realization, mutual commitments, and future growth opportunities — including alignment with national energy transition and Vision 2030 objectives.
  • Proactively track and anticipate M&A activity, joint ventures, and new energy investments within the customer landscape to position SAP early, maximize commercial impact, and drive internal alignment and accountability.

What You Bring

  • Strong background in strategic account leadership, Energy and Oil & Gas industry expertise, and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex industry challenges — including upstream operations, downstream processing, and corporate digital transformation — into actionable, value-based roadmaps.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain executive-level relationships across large, complex, government-linked organisations and implement effective governance models.
  • Deep expertise in value-based selling and strategic decision-making in large, complex enterprise environments, including experience navigating multi-stakeholder government and semi-government organisations.
  • Solid understanding of SAP solutions and their application within the Energy and Oil & Gas industry, with excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills, including leading QBRs.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business results, consistently exceeding net booking and cloud revenue targets within the Energy sector.
  • Experience working across complex, multinational and government-linked organisations, delivering Energy industry insights and best practices to support innovation, efficiency, decarbonisation, and long-term growth.
