The Avenues – Riyadh represents one of the most ambitious mixed-use developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is set to become a defining destination within the region. How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Managing Director at a Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and Canopy property, you’re not just leading the strategic hotel operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Lead the overall performance of The Avenues Riyadh: Provide strategic, operational and commercial leadership across the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and Canopy hotels, ensuring each brand delivers exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance and distinctive brand positioning while contributing to a cohesive market presence across the development.
Shape and execute the long-term vision for the development: Define and deliver short- and long-term business strategies, oversee pre-opening, launch and stabilisation activities, and ensure decisions support the interests of the hotels, their respective brands, the ownership group and Hilton's long-term vision.
Drive commercial performance and owner returns: Oversee revenue generation, profitability, budgets, forecasts and capital investments across the portfolio, maximising GOP, EBITDA and long-term asset value while balancing operational excellence with exceptional guest experiences.
Act as the primary owner and stakeholder relationship holder: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with ownership, Hilton stakeholders and regional teams, providing strategic recommendations, transparent communication and performance reporting to ensure alignment on priorities, investment objectives and future growth.
Lead the Waldorf Astoria as General Manager: Directly oversee the operations, guest experience, commercial performance and team culture of the Waldorf Astoria, supported by a Hotel Manager, while ensuring the highest standards of luxury hospitality and brand excellence.
Guide and inspire hotel leadership teams: Provide leadership, direction and governance to the General Managers of Conrad and Canopy, fostering accountability, collaboration and performance while preserving the distinct identity, guest proposition and positioning of each brand.
Drive commercial and revenue excellence: Oversee cluster sales, marketing and revenue management strategies across the development, maximizing performance across all business segments and ensuring the optimal utilisation of guestrooms, meeting and event spaces, and food and beverage venues.
Ensure operational excellence across the portfolio: Maintain brand compliance and operational integrity across all properties, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies, scalability and service delivery across shared functions and resources.
Build a culture of high performance and inclusion: Develop exceptional leadership teams, strengthen succession pipelines, support Saudization objectives and foster a culture that is unified in purpose while reflecting the unique character and service ethos of each brand.
Partner on development and pre-opening initiatives: Work closely with regional Operations, Openings & Transitions, and Architecture, Design & Construction teams to ensure successful project delivery, brand compliance, talent readiness and seamless hotel openings.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Managing Director, Area Vice President or equivalent senior leader within luxury and lifestyle hospitality, with a track record of leading complex operations and delivering sustained business performance.
- Extensive multi-property, cluster or regional leadership experience, with the ability to balance the needs of multiple brands while creating alignment around a shared strategic vision.
- Demonstrated success operating within mixed-brand environments, with a strong understanding of how to preserve distinct brand identities while maximizing synergies across a wider development or portfolio.
- Strong commercial, financial and asset management acumen, including experience overseeing large-scale budgets, capital investments, forecasting, profitability and long-term value creation for owners and stakeholders.
- Proven pre-opening, opening and stabilization experience, with the ability to lead complex projects, build high-performing teams and successfully launch new hospitality concepts.
- Exceptional owner relations and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted partnerships, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning diverse interests to achieve strategic objectives.
- Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
- GCC experience highly preferred
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
