The opportunity
TAYB a tech-led strategic partner spanning brand & reach, technology & solutions, and AI & automation.
We are moving from a single executive commercial channel to a durable structure with one accountable owner in-region. This is that role. The Managing Director takes ownership of the Gulf P&L as our founding partner transitions to a non-executive board seat — inheriting strong key accounts, and given the engine to win new ones.
The role — run the A–Z of the venture
A full general-management mandate with a commercial heart. The MD owns the number, the clients, and the team that delivers for them.
- Own the Gulf P&L: full accountability for revenue, margin and the cost base of the KSA venture.
- Protect and grow key accounts: take personal handover of existing strategic relationships, become the trusted senior point of contact, and drive retention and upsell.
- Drive the new-logo pipeline: own origination and conversion personally, and build it as a repeatable engine rather than a series of one-off wins.
- Build and run the commercial layer: manage a performance-led network of senior Gulf rainmakers plus internal commercial colleagues — qualification standards, pipeline discipline, and the 90-day performance gates.
- Orchestrate delivery: direct on-ground account leads and the Egypt delivery team, with a structured KSA travel cadence, so delivery quality matches the relationship.
- Represent TAYB at the top of the room: C-suite, family offices, ministerial and semi-government settings, and navigate Etimad, procurement frameworks and approved-vendor ecosystems.
- Be the board's eyes in the Kingdom: honest reporting on pipeline, cash and market, flagging the accelerate-or-hold calls early.
Who you are — essential
- 10+ years' experience in senior commercial or general-management roles, with a clear track record of carrying and hitting a number.
- From a similar business — agency, digital, technology, consulting or professional services — with a real understanding of how this model makes money and how it delivers.
- End-to-end capability: comfortable running the whole venture — commercial, delivery oversight, team, and the P&L behind it.
- Strong Gulf network: real, current senior relationships across KSA and the wider Gulf that can be activated from day one.
- Based in Riyadh, in-Kingdom, and able to travel the Gulf as the business requires.
Who you are — strongly preferred
- KSA market fluency: first-hand experience of Vision 2030 programmes, government and semi-government buying, and Etimad / vendor frameworks.
- Arabic and English: professional working proficiency in both; Arabic a strong advantage for senior relationship-building.
- Builder's mindset: has stood up or scaled a market, function or office — not only managed a mature one.
- People leadership: experience leading distributed teams across borders and time zones.
- Cash-aware: manages growth against the cash position, not in spite of it.
