Job Description:

The Managing Director – Industrial & Manufacturing will lead the organization with a vision to optimize operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives across the industrial and manufacturing sectors. This executive leader will leverage extensive industry knowledge and insights to influence decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the industrial and manufacturing sectors, demonstrating a consistent track record of leading complex operations.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large-scale change initiatives within a manufacturing environment, illustrating advanced change management competencies.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, production processes, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, financial forecasting, and KPI development.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in risk management and crisis resolution, adept at navigating challenges effectively.
  • Superior negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across various levels of the organization.
  • Experience in building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organization’s vision and goals, ensuring sustainable growth within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring that all departments are functioning effectively and efficiently to meet operational targets.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing processes by evaluating emerging technologies and guiding the adoption of best practices within operations.
  • Establish performance metrics that align with strategic objectives, ensuring ongoing monitoring and analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing senior management while promoting leadership development programs throughout the organization.
  • Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards to minimize operational risks.
  • Foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations to enhance the company’s reputation.
