Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Transport Advisory and Planning to lead and deliver transport planning, mobility strategy, and advisory projects. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing transport modelling and analysis, and providing strategic insights to clients across public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and consulting experience in transport planning.
Your role
- Lead transport advisory and planning projects from inception to delivery
- Develop and review transport strategies, mobility plans, and policy frameworks
- Oversee transport modelling activities, including network development, demand forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Guide GIS-based spatial analysis and data-driven transport planning solutions
- Manage data collection, validation, and analysis for traffic and mobility studies
- Provide technical expertise in urban mobility, traffic engineering, and multi-modal transport systems
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and client presentations
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities to support project objectives
- Mentor and manage junior staff, interns, and consultants
- Support business development through proposal writing, bid management, and client acquisition
- Ensure project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards
About you
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
- 6–10+ years of experience in transport planning, modelling, or advisory roles
- Proven experience in managing transport planning or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of transport policies, planning methodologies, and mobility systems
- Hands-on experience with transport modelling tools (e.g., VISUM, Vissim, Aimsun)
- Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) and data analysis
Preferred
- Experience working with government agencies, urban local bodies, or international clients
- Knowledge of sustainable mobility and smart city initiatives
- Familiarity with programming/tools such as Python, R, or Matlab for data analysis
- Certification or specialization in transport planning or traffic engineering
