Deloitte’s Legal Management Consulting (LMC) team in the Middle East partners with in-house legal departments and law firms to redesign their operating models across process, people and technology; from strategy through to implementation and sustained operational change. LMC combines deep legal sector expertise with enterprise-grade consulting and technology delivery capabilities. As part of the global Deloitte Legal network - over 2,500 legal professionals across 85+ jurisdictions - we are now building a dedicated LMC capability in Riyadh, KSA, to serve the Middle East market. This is a foundational hire for that team.

Job Summary

As a Manager/Senior Manager (level dependent on experience), you will independently lead engagements or major workstreams within large-scale programmes, reporting to engagement partners and directors. You will serve as a technical leader across both legal operations and growth, and legal technology and AI - leading legal operating model and operations transformation work alongside LLM-powered solutions, AI workflow design, agentic AI workflows and system deployments. You will also develop senior client relationships to build the sales pipeline in the Middle East, and coach and develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently managing complex end-to-end client engagements and major workstreams spanning legal operations, operating model design and legal technology/AI, acting as the senior Deloitte presence on projects
• Building trusted senior client relationships across in-house legal departments and law firms, acting as a recognised advisor on legal operations, growth and AI enabled transformation
• Actively developing and owning your own sales pipeline, and building your personal brand as an LMC specialist through thought leadership and professional networks
• Taking a leading role in shaping LMC propositions and market positioning in the Middle East, and inspiring high-performing, diverse teams across multiple engagements
• Leading the design and implementation of legal operating models and legal technology solutions at scale — including legal operations redesign, LLM-powered tools, AI workflow, agentic AI architectures and enterprise legal platforms - to transform clients' legal operations and service delivery models
  
  

Day To Day Activities

• Providing a vision for deliverables, owning key client relationships, and maintaining expert knowledge across legal operations and growth strategy as well as legal technology platforms, AI/LLM integration tooling and delivery frameworks - alongside standard tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
• Communicating proactively and effectively with clients and colleagues, confidently leading meetings, constructing clear narratives, and holding difficult conversations where needed
• Building and maintaining senior client relationships, leveraging specialist knowledge to articulate the value LMC brings, and proactively identifying new opportunities across Deloitte Legal and the wider firm
• Planning and managing engagements on time and within budget, leading teams by setting clear expectations, delegating appropriately and driving team accountability for delivery
• Fostering a collaborative and inspiring team environment, acting as People Leader for individuals, supporting career development planning, and identifying skills needs for the future of the LMC practice
• Leading sales efforts, owning the development of pursuit materials, establishing client relationships beyond immediate engagements, and identifying new business development opportunities
• Actively building your personal brand internally and externally - publishing thought leadership on legal operations, Legal tech, generative AI, agentic AI and legal operations transformation, contributing to external events, and collaborating globally with other Deloitte practitioners to drive innovation Contribute to capability building in legal transformation, AI-enabled legal services, and technology advisory
  
  

Skills And Professional Experience

• Significant consulting experience with a strong record of independently managing complex engagements in the legal, professional services or adjacent sector – with a particular focus on legal operations and legal technology deployments
• Demonstrable understanding of the challenges and requirements of in-house legal departments and/or law firms, combined with deep working knowledge of legal operating models, legal operations and growth strategy, LLMs, agentic AI, AI workflow design and their practical application to legal service delivery and legal operations
• Proven experience shaping and managing complex transformation projects, with hands-on experience implementing legal operations improvements and legal technology solutions at scale - including operating model redesign, technology architecture design, AI-enabled process reengineering, enterprise legal management platforms and solution integration
• Strong technical understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations, AI workflow orchestration, agentic AI design patterns and prompt engineering, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical client solutions and clearly articulate the business value of AI-enabled legal transformation
• Proven senior client relationship management skills, with experience building trusted advisory relationships across in-house legal departments and law firms, and a demonstrable track record in business development
• A confident, considered point of view on complex issues, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and hold difficult conversations with clients and team members
• Strong people leadership experience, with a record of developing and inspiring diverse, multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent commercial acumen including engagement pricing, scoping, budget management and profitability; high proficiency in core delivery and collaboration tools.
