Role Summary

Design and implement OCI cloud foundations for sovereign, dedicated, and isolated environments, ensuring compliance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) tenancy, landing zones, and network topology to support scalable and secure enterprise environments.
• Implement and manage hybrid connectivity solutions, including FastConnect and VPN, as well as disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security frameworks, maintaining a strong security posture across all cloud deployments..
  
  

Technical Skills

• Expertise in OCI networking components, including Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), gateways, IAM, Security Zones, and Cloud Guard.
• Proficient in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
• Experience with other automation tools such as Ansible, and scripting languages including Python and Bash
• Knowledge of advanced OCI security services like Web Application Firewall (WAF), OCI Vault for secret management, and OCI Logging Analytics
• Strong understanding of Oracle Database technologies and experience with OCI database services, such as Oracle Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud@Customer.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• OCI Architect Professional
• Terraform Associate
  
  

Years Of Experience

• 10+ years in cloud architecture, 3+ years OCI-specific.
  
  

Should Have Experience

• Should have hands-on experience with Sovereign Cloud solutions and ERP transformation projects, facilitating secure and compliant cloud adoption for enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated ability in deploying dedicated and isolated OCI platforms.
• Experience with Alloy deployments tailored for regulated industries, ensuring adherence to industry-specific compliance and governance standards.
