Responsibilities

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Repair Work

  • Repairs & maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals & manufacturer’s specifications machineries & other mechanical equipment.
  • Inspects & troubleshoots the problem.
  • Dismantles devices to repair defective parts.
  • Reports work done, remarks & parts used on the repair request form.
  • Checks the bearing condition & other wear & tear.
  • Replaces faulty Mechanical components of machines & equipment, such as bearing, chains, belts, pneumatic & Hydraulic Components, using proper equipment & hand tools.
  • Performs & implements routine maintenance programs using appropriate tools & all related references.
  • Carry out the calibration based on the calibration schedule.
  • Logging the daily activities.

5s

  • Carry out, implement and maintain the 5S culture.
  • Ensures that health & safety requirements are implemented throughout the plant; that employee health is adequately safeguarded from industrial hazards.

Authorities

  • Prepares & issues a needed spare parts voucher.
  • Initiates & recommends modification or replacement of components & equipment which fail to meet acceptable operating standards.
  • May direct, assist & train new or lower level technicians.
