Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to oversee all maintenance activities within our organization, including the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all assets to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Job Responsibility:
1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify and resolve any issues.
2. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal functioning of all assets.
3. Scheduling and supervising preventive maintenance tasks to minimize the risk of breakdowns.
4. Coordinating with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
5. Installing and commissioning new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper set-up and functionality.
6. Keeping accurate maintenance records and documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
7. Training and guiding maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
