The Maintenance Engineer – Electrical/Mechatronics will be based in Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechatronics) will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, performance, and safety of all factory machines and equipment. This includes press machines, CNC and laser cutting machines, drilling units, tube mill and slitting lines, and related automation systems. The role involves leading preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

General Task Management
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all machines and equipment (hands-on
- Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and apprentices.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in PLCs, control systems, drives, motors, and automation panels.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime with minimum breakdown frequency.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Maintenance codes, company standards and policies, and factory safety guidelines.
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
- Implement lock-out/tag-out, Risk assessments. and other safety procedures during maintenance.
- Monitor critical parameters such as vibration, temperature, lubrication, and energy consumption.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ability to create and implement new systems and miner modifying machinery.
- Coordinate and supervise 3rd party contractors for building general maintenance activities.

- Supervise and guide maintenance technicians and contractors during maintenance and repair work.
- Allocate daily maintenance tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to procedures.
- Provide on-the-job training and promote a proactive maintenance culture
- Coordinate with production and QA departments to plan shutdowns and maintenance activities
- Foster teamwork, continuous learning, and accountability within the maintenance team.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial or factory maintenance.
- Proven experience in maintaining/troubleshooting press machines, CNC, laser, drilling, tube mill, and slitting lines.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and energy management practices
- Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S initiatives.
- Propose upgrades, automation, or modifications to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history.
- Very good communication skills.
- MS Office, CMMS systems, and maintenance reporting tools
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis (RCA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Night Shift work and emergency call-outs may be required.
