Machine Operator

Operate and maintain machinery used in the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality and safety standards. The Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring machine performance, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functioning.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Report any malfunctions, breakdowns, or defects to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in the setup of machinery for production runs.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance operational skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
