Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator supports the smooth and timely movement of goods across the MEA region by coordinating shipments, documentation, and logistics partners. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer commitments are met while maintaining compliance with regional and global trade requirements. The position collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, cost‑effective logistics solutions that support Emerson’s business objectives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with trade regulations
  • Work with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Monitor shipment status, proactively address delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Prepare and validate shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and transport instructions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics processes, cost optimization, and service quality
  • Collaborate with planning, customer service, and finance teams to align logistics activities with business needs
  • Maintain accurate records in logistics and enterprise systems in line with company standards
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Practical experience or strong working knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or shipping operations
  • Understanding of import/export processes and international trade documentation
  • Ability to use digital tools and enterprise systems to manage data accurately
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Authorization to work in the country where the role is based

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience supporting logistics operations in the Middle East, Africa, or other international regions
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, or freight forwarding processes
  • Exposure to ERP or logistics management systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and multicultural teams
