About ClearGrid

ClearGrid is revolutionizing the debt resolution industry with cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics. We leverage real-time data, machine learning, and automation to optimize debt recovery for financial institutions. As we scale our technology platform, we are building high-performance, resilient systems to support our next phase of hyper-growth.

About The Role

This role owns digital collections for the Collections Business Unit in KSA: building journeys from scratch, writing the content that goes into them, and running the experiments that make them better. A journey decides who gets contacted, when, and how; built on segmentation and borrower data, and continuously tested and refined.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will work closely with Analytics, Conversation Quality and AI Ops, Product, and Operations to make the journeys smarter.

What you'll own

  • Contactability, reachability, and engagement. Contactability first: valid numbers and addresses, bounce handling, clean contact data. Then reachability: inbox placement, domain and IP warm-up, sender reputation. Ultimately, engagement: borrowers who reply, answer, or interact with what you send. Engaged users is the metric this role is measured on.
  • Email and SMS journeys end to end. Designing, building, and continuously optimising them: segmentation, treatment by borrower profile and delinquency stage, cadence, and channel sequencing, including the orchestration logic for when and how AI calls get triggered within a journey.
  • Depth of segmentation. Building treatment on real borrower attributes: exposure, products held, prior contact outcomes, stated circumstances so that journeys are as sophisticated as the data allows.
  • Culturally relevant content. Writing and owning the borrower-facing copy across email and SMS, AI-assisted but yours, written for the Saudi market rather than adapted from elsewhere.
  • Cost per connection. Owning performance and cost together: growing engagement while keeping SMS, call, and email cost per connection efficient, and making that trade-off deliberately with the teams who manage channel spend.
  • A structured testing culture. Designing and running A/B tests on content, timing, cadence, and channel mix, reading the results properly, and feeding what you learn back into journey design.
  • Measurement and attribution. Working with Analytics to sharpen attribution on what your journeys drive, and using it to decide where to invest effort.
  • Volume into inbound and self-serve. The journeys you build are what bring borrowers into our inbound and self-serve channels, and you own that flow.
  • Cross-functional input on AI. Identifying and proposing where AI agents could be usefully applied within the journeys you own, and working with AI Ops and Conversation Quality to specify and test them.

What we're looking for

  • 4–6 years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or digital collections, with hands-on ownership of live customer communication programmes.
  • Background in lifecycle marketing or CRM specifically. Paid acquisition and performance marketing profiles are not a fit for this role, as the funnel and the craft are different.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, and able to write borrower-facing content in Saudi dialect to a publishable standard.
  • Hands-on experience building journeys inside a campaign or lifecycle platform yourself (e.g. WebEngage, Braze, CleverTap, MoEngage, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar): segmentation, triggers, and multi-step flows.
  • Practical email and SMS deliverability knowledge: sender authentication, domain and IP warm-up, spam placement, list hygiene, and SMS sender ID and aggregator requirements in KSA.
  • Comfortable working directly with data: pulling it, reading it, and interrogating it to drive segmentation, prioritisation, and test design.
  • Experience designing A/B tests properly: sizing them, avoiding false reads, and turning results into decisions.
  • Commercial judgement on channel economics, with experience weighing campaign performance against delivery cost.
  • A builder's mindset: comfortable creating structure where little exists and building systems from the ground up.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator across functions.
  • Based in Riyadh, or able to relocate. This is an office-based role.
