Lead Design Architect

About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Architect to set the design direction for large-scale architecture, interiors, and master planning projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and present the design vision to clients and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the design strategy and architectural vision for each project, from concept to execution.
• Lead design teams through the concept, schematic, and design development phases, ensuring quality, consistency, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate architecture, interiors, engineering, and external consultants to deliver a cohesive outcome.
• Integrate commercial, regulatory, and technical requirements into design solutions.
• Present design intent and lead design reviews with clients, executive stakeholders, and authorities.
• Manage multiple high-value projects within timeline and budget.
• Mentor junior and mid-level architects, and set design standards and best practices.
• Support business development through design presentations and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 15+ Years of experience.
• Professional architect registration or licensure.
• Proven experience leading large-scale real estate or master planning projects.
• Experience in KSA or GCC markets and their regulatory environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, or ArchiCAD, along with strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design and green building standards.
