Job Description

As a Land Surveyor, you will be a key member of the site supervision team, responsible for monitoring and verifying survey works performed by contractors across transportation, roadway, and utility infrastructure projects. You will ensure accuracy of construction layouts, levels, alignments, and as-built records while supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure works.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with engineering consultancy firms on site supervision assignments within Saudi Arabia. Strong experience in roads, highways, transportation corridors, utility networks, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify contractor survey activities, setting out works, and survey control points.
  • Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and coordinates.
  • Conduct field surveys and inspections to confirm accuracy of alignment, levels, elevations, and dimensions.
  • Establish and maintain survey control networks and benchmarks.
  • Verify quantities, measurements, and as-built survey information.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with approved survey methodologies and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with Resident Engineers, inspectors, and construction supervision teams to resolve site-related survey issues.
  • Review survey reports, records, drawings, and as-built documentation.
  • Support progress monitoring and verification of completed works.
  • Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and utilized in accordance with project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and survey-related documentation.
  • Support the successful delivery of transportation, roadway, utility, drainage, and associated infrastructure projects.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant surveying experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on transportation, roads, highways, and utility infrastructure projects.
  • Mandatory experience within Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Proven experience working with engineering consultancy firms on construction supervision projects.
  • Strong knowledge of modern surveying techniques, GPS, Total Station, levels, and digital survey equipment.
  • Experience reviewing contractor survey submissions and verifying construction setting out.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure construction practices and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geospatial data.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
