Responsibilities

This position is our permanent engineer and reports to the Middle East FGFD Services and Solutions Leader and is responsible for successfully managing service assignments including but not limited to: - commissioning of gas detectors, control panels, HVAC-R and monitoring systems, and any or other MSA range of Industrial PPE, Fire Services products, and servicing, maintenance, onsite calibration, repair and training in Saudi Arabia.

The position promotes MSA’s service business by maintaining and developing business relationships with established ASPs, channel partners, existing customers, and new customers.

PAID LABOUR - Execute Service, Project Commissioning, Calibration, Maintenance and Training

• Co-ordinate with FGFD Service and Projects team to understand the upcoming project commissioning/expected schedules and plan for smooth execution.
• Collaborate with the authorized service partners in the country, and support, guide end users to carry out calibration, repair, maintenance and training
• Extend sales support to the country sales managers and field sales managers for MSA products as required.
• Engage with Middle East HQ and collaborate in resolving warranty, quality and challenges concerning the products, and spare parts.
• Promoter of MSA Services - manage service visits, on-site commissioning, service requirements and assist ASPs in securing Annual Maintenance Contracts with existing installation base.
• Executing on-site paid repair and maintenance, and preventive maintenance as necessary.
• Collect data, take photos or images of products, especially the competitive brands where possible and support building business intel and share gain for both sales and service organization.
  
  
  

Warranty and Sales support new services (e.g rental)

• Assist the Quality Engineer by preparing relevant documents including the field visit reports to support customer quality notes, as well as managing warranty replacements as necessary.
• Provide inspection, service, site visit reports, and calibration certificates, along with any other job-specific documents.
• Support customers for sale of spare parts, services, and training through telephone, email, face-to-face, and on-site assistance.
• Report any issues or concerns raised by customers to management and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with Service Engineers and Sales Managers, and promptly raise alerts for any issues that may negatively impact MSA functions
• Offer sales support to the customer-facing team as necessary.
  
  
  

ASP support

• Assist in the implementation of MSA Service policies (ASPs) with selected/certified channel partners in the NON-ARAMCO accounts.
• Periodically visit the ASPs to address service challenges, and to audit on annual basis and ensure compliance.
• Develop and nurture strong customer relationships by offering quick and responsive service.
• Organize, and attend service meetings and training as required.
• Expand coverage of service support across underserved market.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on field experience servicing electronics, instrumentation, mechanical, and pneumatic products
• Proven track record in product commissioning, servicing, repair, maintenance, and training
• Experience in troubleshooting, service reporting, and tracking
• Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to act as a service consultant and identify/propose long-term service contracts
• Ability to represent the voice of the customer internally to improve service quality

• Diploma in any specialization with 3 years' relevant work experience
• Engineering Degree in any specialization with 1–2 years' relevant work experience
