Investments Associate

Miza is a digital wealth management platform built to democratize access to exclusive global investment opportunities. The platform gives high-net-worth individuals access to private funds, pre-IPO deals, and alternative investments — asset classes traditionally restricted by high minimums and opaque networks. Miza operates at the intersection of technology and curated investment access, and is building its investments function from the ground up.

This role sits at the core of that build. The Managing Investments Associate will take direct ownership across counterparty management, portfolio construction, fund operations, and investment writing — reporting to the CEO from day one. CME1 and CME4 certifications are mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with external partners including fund houses, custodians, distribution platforms, and a global asset manager counterparty network
• Coordinate execution and operational flows across counterparties, ensuring subscriptions, redemptions, and capital calls are processed accurately and on time
• Serve as the primary point of contact for routine operational and investment queries from external partners
• Support the investment team in screening funds, managers, and strategies for inclusion in client portfolios
• Build and maintain the investment universe, due diligence packs, comparative analyses, and fee benchmarking materials
• Run periodic portfolio reviews and rebalancing analyses
• Produce investment memos, fund summaries, market commentaries, and client-facing investment notes
• Translate technical investment content between English and Arabic for client communications
• Maintain quality and consistency across all investment documentation
• Support trade execution across asset classes including funds, equities, and fixed income
• Reconcile positions, confirmations, and settlements with the operations team
• Contribute to improving internal investment processes as the platform scales
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in asset management, wealth management, private banking, or investment operations
• CME1 and CME4 certifications — mandatory
• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail with comfort working across fund documentation, numbers, and reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools to improve real workflows, beyond drafting tasks
• Experience in private markets, alternative investments, or global funds is an advantage
• Background in a CMA-regulated environment is an advantage
• Familiarity with SAMA regulations relevant to NBFI or microfinance operations is a plus
• Experience with fund accounting or investment tracking software platforms is a plus
