At Amentum UK and International, we are at the forefront of shaping the future, not just solving problems. Our expertise in engineering, project management, and solutions integration has positioned us as a key collaborator with government entities, delivering intricate and impactful programs around the world. With a strong presence in Saudi Arabia, we are actively involved in critical projects throughout the region. We are spearheading several exciting initiatives, taking on technical responsibilities for programme management, engineering oversight, and construction assurance.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of a complex, high-profile defence-sector infrastructure programme in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role will provide hands-on project management, coordination and governance support across multiple infrastructure workstreams in a demanding, multi-stakeholder environment. Working as part of an integrated programme team, the successful candidate will help coordinate project activities from planning through delivery, maintain effective governance and reporting, and support engagement with client, technical, commercial and delivery stakeholders. The role requires strong organisation, sound project management judgement and the ability to operate effectively in a sensitive and professionally demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day infrastructure project activities, priorities, outputs and interfaces across assigned workstreams.
  • Support the planning and delivery of new-build, refurbishment and wider infrastructure activities within a complex programme environment.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with client representatives, programme leadership, technical teams, commercial/procurement functions, consultants, contractors and other delivery stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate and administer project meetings and formal governance forums, including agendas, meeting records, action logs and decision registers.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers and delivery plans, and monitor progress against agreed commitments and dependencies.
  • Prepare clear project reports, management information, briefings, presentations and governance submissions to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) records and support the identification, escalation and management of project risks and issues.
  • Coordinate project actions, approvals and deliverables through established governance and assurance arrangements.
  • Maintain robust document control, records management and project information arrangements.
  • Support business case, procurement and commercial activities where required, including coordination of inputs, documentation and stakeholder actions.
  • Provide delivery oversight and proactive follow-up to ensure actions are closed and project outputs are progressed in a timely manner.
  • Promote professional, collaborative and disciplined project-management practices throughout the assignment.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Professional project management certification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or similar) is desirable.
  • 5+ years' experience delivering or supporting infrastructure, engineering, construction, or major capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, controls, scheduling, and delivery coordination.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across client, contractor, and delivery teams.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively across diverse and multicultural teams.
  • Experience managing project documentation, schedules, RAID logs, action trackers, and project records.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with sound judgement and the confidence to escalate issues when required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint experience is an advantage.
  • Experience within defence, government, regulated industries, or the Saudi/Middle East market would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of procurement, commercial, business case, or project finance activities is advantageous.
