This position is for a Remote Human Resources Assistant whose role is to support core HR operations within a distributed team. This fully remote role focuses on maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring HR workflows are completed efficiently and in compliance with internal standards.

In this role, you will help keep HR systems organized, handle sensitive information with discretion, and support daily administrative tasks that contribute to a smooth employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working within structured processes in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records across HR systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and scheduling
  • Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and internal communications
  • Respond to basic HR inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team members
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, documentation standards, and data privacy requirements
  • Organize and manage digital HR files using standardized naming and filing systems
  • Monitor HR workflows, identify delays or gaps, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain HR trackers and provide regular updates on task progress and outstanding items
  • Assist with audit preparation by ensuring documentation is complete and easily accessible

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; training and support will be provided
