HSE Auditor with strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems and auditing techniques
· Develop and implement annual HSE audit plans and schedules.
· Conduct internal, supplier, contractor, and site HSE audits to verify compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of HSE Management Systems, policies, procedures, and controls.
· Assess compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, applicable legal requirements, and client standards.
· Review risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and safe work procedures.
· Conduct field inspections and workplace observations to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors.
· Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, non-conformities, observations, and recommendations.
· Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of audit findings.
· Analyze audit trends and identify recurring issues requiring management attention.
· Participate in incident investigations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
· Review HSE performance indicators and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Support management reviews and compliance evaluations.
· Provide guidance and awareness to project teams regarding audit requirements and compliance obligations.
· Coordinate with project management, operations, and HSE personnel during audit activities.
· Maintain audit records, documentation, and compliance databases.
· Assist in preparing for external audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections.
· Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Perform any other HSE-related duties assigned by management.
Basic Qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent).
· Must have NEBOSH certified.
· Must possess IRCA Certified ISO 45001 and ISO14001 Lead Auditor Certification.
· Minimum 5-7 years of HSE experience in EPC projects and major industrial sectors, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, and related process industries.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting HSE audits, compliance assessments, and management system audits.
· Demonstrated experience in auditing Integrated Management Systems (IMS) against ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and client-specific HSE requirements.
· Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems and auditing techniques.
· Training in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Incident Investigation.
· Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) competency.
· Excellent report writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
· Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
· Familiarity with OSHA standards and international HSE best practices.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
