Health and Safety Manager (Saudi National)

The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Collaborate with senior leadership teams to deliver cost-effective, efficient, and high-performing business outcomes.

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, standards, and guidance.

• Conduct audits and inspections, assisting in the resolution of non-conformities identified through internal and external audits.

• Contribute to the development of new standards and ensure ongoing compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Analyse audit findings, corrective actions, and KPI performance to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee timely completion of incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are effectively communicated and implemented.

• Lead, manage, and develop teams of managers and professionals, ensuring appropriate structures, capabilities, and responsibilities are in place to achieve business objectives.

• Provide performance management, technical guidance, and coaching while supporting net zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon emission reduction and sustainability initiatives.

  
  

You’ll need to have:

• Professional qualification (or equivalent).

• Relevant experience of management in an organisation.
