Job Description:

The Group CEO – Consumer & FMCG Group will spearhead the strategic direction and operational leadership of a dynamic and expansive organization within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This role requires a visionary leader with a profound understanding of market dynamics and robust financial acumen. The successful candidate will cultivate a high-performance culture, drive innovation, and establish sustainable growth across diverse product lines, ensuring a strong competitive edge. Furthermore, the Group CEO will represent the company to external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies, while building and maintaining a strong brand reputation. The individual must demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, an extensive network in the FMCG sector, and a commitment to corporate social responsibility. An emphasis will be placed on leveraging data analytics and consumer insights to steer strategic initiatives that resonate with customer needs and market trends.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within the FMCG sector, with a proven record in executive management roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global FMCG market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to effectively inform strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing P&L and operating budgets of significant scale, ideally within multi-national environments.
  • Proven track record in leading strategic transformations that drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster partnerships and influence decision-makers across various levels, including board members and shareholders.
  • Strong comprehension of advanced data analytics and market research methodologies to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments while maintaining compliance and corporate governance standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term strategic plan, aligning all operational and financial objectives with the overall mission and vision of the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse executive team to cultivate a high-performance culture that prioritizes employee engagement, development, and accountability.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement across product development and marketing initiatives, leveraging consumer insights to enhance customer satisfaction and market positioning.
  • Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and risk management processes, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximizing profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviors to position the company strategically in the marketplace.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives and corporate social responsibility programs that align with overarching business objectives and enhance brand reputation.
