Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Riyadh
Contract type: Full time

About Us

Emperor is a leading, full service corporate communications agency. Proudly independent and with a long heritage of nearly 30 years we are well known in the world of reporting but now in London over 50% of our work is in other areas. These include brand, employee engagement, campaigns, digital (including websites) and moving image and content production. We have a wide range of mainly B2B clients – ranging from large FTSE 100 clients to smaller clients such as regional law firms.

What makes Emperor a great place to work springs from the fact that we are employee-owned. This means employees have a strong voice in how we are run. We have retained our commitment to hybrid working and flexible working hours. Our culture is fair and based on trust, with a good work and home balance.

The Role

We expect each of our Designers to bring something extra to the table. This starts with you actively engaging with your briefs to get a clear understanding of what’s really being asked of you, and where you can push things creatively to get the best results.

You’re not only able to interpret the insights, information and esearch given to you in a brief but develop them, expand on them and use them to shape a well-executed creative response.

You can articulate your ideas clearly to your colleagues, with some preparation, you’re comfortable speaking intelligently about them to a wider audience. You know what makes your work impactful and you can prove why it’s good.

Delivering extra means using your initiative and being confident enough to explore and try out different solutions. You bring this ‘self-starter’ mentality, along with a willingness to learn new skills and take on unfamiliar tasks. You’re always looking to improve further.

We expect designers to be curious about the world, passionate about design, eager to push creativity and happy to get stuck in to support your team. While your work will speak for itself, you’ll need the communication skills to build the trust and respect of colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in creating, rolling out and implementing visuals and artwork, as well as animations at times
  • Work across a range of materials, in print and digital formats
  • Work closely with account managers to gain a full knowledge of our clients,
  • Understand brand/visual identity systems, and translates them into quality creative executions
  • Take a concept and extend it across any number of channels and outputs.
  • Collaborate with creatives across print, digital, film, moving image, animation and copywriting
  • Learn and follow the studio systems and processes
  • Maintain discipline and vigilance around file and version management

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Past experience of working on animation projects
