Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures on front-end washing machines and related auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on washers, dryers, and associated conveyance systems.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled repairs, including component replacement, alignment, and calibration.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to aid in troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with the maintenance and repair of industrial washing equipment or similar automated machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls (e.g., sensors, motors, PLCs).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
