Job Summary

To develop, manage, and optimize pricing for international freight shipments (air, ocean, and land) to win profitable business, and support sales teams with attractive quotes and margin analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain pricing for all modes (air, ocean, and land) for multiple lanes and service levels.
• Analyze customer requirements, carrier rates, to prepare competitive quotes.
• Monitor and optimize profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quote-to-win ratio and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supplier management to ensure feasibility of quotes and service commitments.
• Manage exception pricing for high-risk/large-value shipments and urgent requests.
• Maintain data in pricing databases and ERP/TMS systems.
• Generate regular pricing reports for management review; identify trends and opportunities and keep rates up to date all the time.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and documentation standards.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, economics, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• 3–5 years in freight forwarding pricing or commercial role; international logistics experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of multimodal freight pricing, incoterms, and carrier contract structures.
• Analytical mindset with ability to build cost models, run profitability analyses, and present clear recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple quotes with tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Certifications related to logistics or pricing (e.g., FIATA, ASTL, CPSM) are a plus.
• Knowledge of customs compliance and import/export documentation.
• Experience with international pricing structures, surcharges, and currency considerations.
