Fitout Estimator

Job Overview

You will price fit-out tenders from first drawing to final submission. Accuracy matters more than volume here. Your numbers will decide which projects the business wins, and whether it makes money on them.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs and specifications for interior fit-out packages.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs for joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes and loose furniture.
• Build cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant, subcontract and overheads.
• Obtain, compare and normalise supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Price MEP elements within fit-out scopes, working with MEP specialists where needed.
• Prepare value engineering options without compromising design intent.
• Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions and clarifications in each tender.
• Prepare complete tender submissions and pricing summaries for management review.
• Maintain a cost database of current rates, suppliers and market prices in KSA.
• Support handover of won projects to the delivery and QS teams.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or Quantity Surveying.
• 5 to 8 years in estimation, with at least 3 years on interior fit-out projects.
• Contractor-side experience with a fit-out or interiors company.
• Proven pricing of fit-out tenders for offices, hotels, retail or high-end residential.
• Strong working knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery and finishes.
• Confident reading architectural and interior drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD and a take-off tool such as Bluebeam or PlanSwift.
• Current knowledge of KSA supplier and subcontractor rates.
• Clear written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
