Financial Accountant

Description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Holiday Inn Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and supporting the hotel's financial operations in line with IHG standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries and General Ledger transactions.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IHG financial policies and local statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and internal controls.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and General Ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
