The project:
Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities and introducing robust knowledge-transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Develop and design sports facilities specifically for football, including stadiums, training centres, and other related structures and other related structures in relation to other sport ground.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure that the project meets the needs of athletes, spectators, and the community.
• Ensure compliance against international code and standard, sporting standards including FIFA compliance.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure that the facility is constructed according to the design and on schedule and budget.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and contractors, to ensure that the project is executed smoothly.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the project to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
• Reviewing overall design status with the design management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
• Demonstrating a logical approach to mitigate complex design issues and communicate solutions within team / to design consultant.
You’ll need to have:
• Proven leader, inspiring high-performing teams and fostering collaboration, innovation and a positive project culture.
• Extensive sports architecture and stadium delivery experience, including FIFA-compliant design and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, design management and value engineering expertise across complex programmes.
• Degree-qualified architect with extensive years’ experience; proficient in CAD/BIM, industry standards and sustainability principles.
