Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading the development of a world-class entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Roads Design to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the design and planning of roadways and transportation infrastructure, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and aesthetics to enhance the overall visitor experience.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the roads design team in developing innovative and efficient transportation solutions for Qiddiya.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design of roadways within the broader project framework.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications for roadways and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and traffic analyses to inform design decisions.
  • Establish design criteria and standards for roadways to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that all design outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Engage with external consultants and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals and design integrity.
  • Prepare and present design proposals and reports to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in road design and transportation engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in road design and transportation engineering, preferably in large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and projects.
  • Strong portfolio of successful road design projects showcasing innovation and technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) and project management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to varied audiences.
  • Thorough understanding of local and international road design standards and sustainability practices.
