Engineer, VDI

Role Summary: The Engineer, VDI supports the implementation and maintenance of procedures related to the production process control. This role involves assisting in monitoring quality issues, preparing necessary documentation for certification, supporting internal monitoring activities, and working towards the efficiency of quality control throughout the process.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of procedures, including rules and resources for control of the production process in each phase.
• Support in implementing corrective and preventive actions for continuous quality improvement.
• Help in monitoring all important quality issues and analyzing indicators.
• Assist in preparing all necessary documents for final certification and delivery in accordance with standards and specifications.
• Support in planning and conducting all internal monitoring activities regarding the process and product.
• Ensure all documents and supports are available for third-party inspection.
• Assist in preparing monthly reports based on detailed quality indicators and suggest improvements.
• To ensure effective communication of AMPTJ's mission, vision, strategy, policies and processes to promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and people empowerment within his responsible area.
• To effectively promote continual improvement initiatives in his responsible area that will enable to meet customer requirements and expectations and applicable legal requirements.
• To properly provide subordinates with the required resources, training and authority to act with empowerment, and accountability.
• To effectively implement actions aiming at achieving excellence in the performance of AMTPJ quality management system and operations for successful business results and sustainable development.
• To effectively develop and properly maintain quality system documents and ensuring related training requirements and necessary competence are adhered.
• To support effectively the conduct of internal/external audits and management of audit results and follow ups.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgy or any other Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in seamless pipes industry preferably API lines ( API-5L, API -5CT ), Quality Control experience in steel/Seamless Steel pipes industry or any related filed.
