We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at one of our premium customers' gold processing plants in Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will lead and supervise all electrical maintenance activities across the process plant, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical equipment and systems. You will play a key role in improving equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of skilled electrical technicians in a remote mining environment.

This is a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) position, offering an attractive roster and the opportunity to work at a world-class remote mining operation.

What You'll Do

• Lead electrical maintenance activities across the processing plant.
• Supervise maintenance of MV/LV distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, and VSDs.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance, shutdowns, breakdown repairs, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Metso HSEQ standards, electrical safety requirements, and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Support fault finding, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop electrical technicians and contractors.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation, and HSE teams.
• Monitor maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and electrical KPIs.
• Manage electrical spare parts and maintenance resources to achieve safe and cost-effective operations.
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical maintenance experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of:
  
• MV/LV distribution systems
• Substations, transformers, and switchgear
• MCCs, motors, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
• Electrical protection and power distribution systems
  
• Proven leadership experience supervising electrical maintenance teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in remote mining or process plant environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer and safety focus..
• Felxibility to work in shifsts as the position require to work in shift.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
