Job Brief:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with mandatory tissue paper manufacturing industry experience to support electrical maintenance operations at its manufacturing facility.


The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical motors, drives, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and other industrial electrical equipment. The role also involves reading electrical drawings, supporting plant shutdowns, and assisting with equipment installations and commissioning.


The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of electrical engineering experience in the tissue paper manufacturing industry, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot electrical motors, drives, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment used in tissue paper manufacturing operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Identify electrical faults and support corrective maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Support planned plant shutdowns and electrical maintenance activities.
  • Assist with electrical equipment installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in the tissue paper manufacturing industry.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of electrical motors, drives, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with plant shutdowns, electrical installations, and commissioning activities.
  • Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
