Job Description

At SLS The Red Sea, the guest experience begins before they even step through the door. As a Doorman, you will be one of the first faces our guests meet — setting the tone with a warm welcome, confident presence, and genuine SLS personality.

From greeting guests and assisting with arrivals and departures to coordinating transportation and supporting the flow at the hotel entrance, you will play an essential role in creating a smooth and memorable first and last impression.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
• Open and close vehicle doors while ensuring a seamless and attentive arrival experience.
• Assist guests with luggage when required and coordinate closely with the Bell team.
• Work closely with Valet, Bell, Concierge, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
• Assist guests with taxis and transportation arrangements when required.
• Support the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and guests at the hotel entrance.
• Provide guests with accurate general information about the hotel, its facilities, and services.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively throughout the arrival and departure experience.
• Maintain the entrance area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and welcoming appearance in line with SLS grooming and service standards.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills with a naturally welcoming attitude.
• Basic English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
• Physically fit and able to assist guests with luggage when required.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational requirements.
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented with a strong commitment to guest service.
• Previous experience within a luxury or lifestyle hospitality environment is an advantage.
