House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm in Saudi Arabia, providing integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and project management consultancy services. We deliver comprehensive solutions that support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in AlUla and support the delivery of a major construction project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and maintain all project documentation in accordance with company procedures and document control standards.
  • Receive, register, distribute, track, and archive project documents, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Ensure all documents are properly reviewed, approved, and issued to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain document control logs, registers, and filing systems.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients regarding document submissions and revisions.
  • Monitor document workflows and ensure timely processing of all project documentation.
  • Prepare reports related to document status, transmittals, and outstanding submissions.
  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of project records.
  • Support project teams by maintaining up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and project documentation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering projects.
  • Previous experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in document control systems such as Aconex, EDMS, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of document management procedures and project documentation workflows.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
