Job Description
The Role
As Director of Finance, you will be the strategic steward of Faena Wadi Safar’s financial health. You will lead all financial operations during pre-opening and beyond, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance while enabling commercial excellence and owner confidence.
You will act as a trusted partner to the General Manager, Directors, and ownership, translating financial insight into decisions that support Faena’s artistry, operational precision, and sustainable growth.

Job Description
The Role
As Director of Finance, you will be the strategic steward of Faena Wadi Safar’s financial health. You will lead all financial operations during pre-opening and beyond, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance while enabling commercial excellence and owner confidence.
You will act as a trusted partner to the General Manager, Directors, and ownership, translating financial insight into decisions that support Faena’s artistry, operational precision, and sustainable growth.
What You Will Create
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute Faena Wadi Safar’s financial strategy, aligned with operational and business objectives.
- Provide insightful financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term growth.
- Partner with ownership and leadership to define financial KPIs, targets, and success metrics.
- Lead pre-opening financial planning, including budgets, capital expenditure (CAPEX) allocations, and operational forecasting.
- Establish financial systems, procedures, and controls that ensure compliance, accuracy, and readiness for operational launch.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor pre-opening costs and manage budgets efficiently.
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local regulations, and corporate standards.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
- Maintain detailed records, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation for ownership and regulatory bodies.
- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and manage financial risk.
- Partner with department heads to monitor budgets, cost centers, and operational performance.
- Drive revenue integrity, expense management, and profitability while maintaining ultra-luxury service standards.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and accountability.
- Build a culture of precision, transparency, and operational excellence within the finance department.
- Support succession planning and talent development, particularly among Saudi nationals.
Who You Are
- A senior finance leader with experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed-use developments.
- Proven expertise in pre-opening financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic, detail-oriented, and commercially savvy, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- A natural partner to operations and leadership, able to translate numbers into actionable insight.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
