We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, in an on-site working mode. In this role, you will collaborate directly with customer infrastructure teams to prepare, deploy and troubleshoot solutions in on-site environments. You will ensure infrastructure readiness, manage deployments on containerized platforms such as OpenShift and follow best practices for security, scalability and reliability. Your contribution will be critical to delivering high-quality solutions for our client engagements.

Responsibilities
- Work with customer infrastructure teams to validate and prepare environments prior to deployments
- Deploy, configure and maintain company solutions on client infrastructure
- Troubleshoot performance, deployment and infrastructure issues across environments
- Manage and support containerized deployments and maintain environments running on OpenShift
- Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Perform minor modifications and troubleshoot Python code where necessary
- Ensure deployments meet best practices in security and performance
- Document deployment processes, configurations and troubleshooting steps
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with DevOps in customer-facing or production environments
- Strong knowledge of containers and container-based deployments (Docker or similar)
- Practical experience with OpenShift including installation and operations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Ability to read and make minor changes to Python code
- Experience managing Linux-based environments
- Understanding of networking, storage and basic cloud or on-premises infrastructure concepts
- Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate (with IT-related discipline) is required for this position
Nice to have
- Exposure to Kubernetes ecosystem and modern container orchestration tools
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions and troubleshooting network/infrastructure issues

Nature of Work and Working Hours
The usual working hours for full-time roles at EPAM in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
