- Establish and maintain PMO governance, project management standards, methodologies, templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor the progress, health, and performance of strategic and operational projects across the organization.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with approved scope and quality standards.
- Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation points, and coordinate mitigation plans with stakeholders.
- Prepare executive-level project status reports, dashboards, and portfolio performance updates.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization across multiple initiatives.
- Support project prioritization, portfolio planning, and governance committee activities.
- Work closely with the Finance team to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Track budget utilization and ensure operational initiatives remain within approved financial plans.
- Support business cases, financial analysis, and investment tracking for strategic initiatives.
- Provide operational and financial performance reports to support executive decision-making.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely sourcing and procurement activities supporting projects and operations.
- Monitor procurement timelines to minimize delivery delays.
- Support vendor evaluation, contract implementation, and supplier performance reviews.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and project requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of operational programs, projects, and business initiatives.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality, cost, and performance standards.
- Establish delivery governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor project and operational risks, implementing mitigation plans where necessary.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
- Develop, review, and improve operational policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Monitor operational performance through dashboards and data-driven decision making.
- Optimize resource allocation, workforce planning, and operational capacity.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to understand operational requirements and priorities.
- Present operational performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships where applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or equivalent are an advantage.
- 8–12 years of experience in operations, service delivery, or program management.
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operational initiatives.
- Experience developing operational strategies and driving organizational performance improvements.
