About The Role
The Mozn brand is alive within a plethora of stakeholder touchpoints and therefore the most suitable candidate for the Data Scientist II position would have hands-on experience in Financial Fraud Detection, KYC, AML, and applied Generative AI solutions. As a Data Scientist II, you will independently contribute to building and deploying analytics and AI models that address fraud and financial crime challenges.

About The Role
The Mozn brand is alive within a plethora of stakeholder touchpoints and therefore the most suitable candidate for the Data Scientist II position would have hands-on experience in Financial Fraud Detection, KYC, AML, and applied Generative AI solutions. As a Data Scientist II, you will independently contribute to building and deploying analytics and AI models that address fraud and financial crime challenges.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to the development and deployment of fraud detection, AML, and GenAI-driven solutions.
- Apply LLMs to real-world problems such as transaction investigation, sanctions screening, and workflow automation.
- Translate business requirements into analytical and AI solutions.
- Own defined components of projects and deliver them end to end.
- Conduct experimentation and optimization of ML and GenAI models.
- Train, deploy, and monitor models in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Interact with SME clients under guidance.
- Stay updated with regulatory, industry, and Generative AI best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2–4 years of experience delivering data science solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ML models and exposure to Generative AI frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, feature engineering, and model deployment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and adaptability.
