Job Description

Job Purpose

To operate and support data center infrastructure by ensuring availability, security, and optimal performance of physical and virtual environments that enable Panda Retail Company’s digital and business operations

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate data center facilities, servers, storage, and network equipment to ensure continuous system availability.
  • Monitor data center environmental conditions including power, cooling, and alarms to maintain safe operating environments.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and replacement of data center hardware to support infrastructure reliability.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and hardware failures to restore services and minimize downtime.
  • Execute approved maintenance activities, upgrades, and patches to maintain performance and security standards.
  • Apply access control, safety, and security procedures within data center facilities to protect assets and data.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate operational records.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during maintenance and incidents to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Support capacity monitoring and infrastructure improvement initiatives by providing operational insights and recommendations.

Skills Description

Education :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data center operations and management
  • Strong knowledge of data center technologies and best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong understanding of server hardware and software
  • Knowledge of networking and storage systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving in data center environments
  • Ability to optimize data center performance and efficiency
  • Proficiency in data center security and disaster recovery protocols
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
