You will be responsible for actively monitoring, assessing, and enforcing baseline security standards across the region.
This includes conducting regular reviews of threats and hazards that may impact the firm and taking direct action to verify that appropriate safeguards are implemented and functioning across offices, client sites, transportation, and accommodations.
You will execute routine control checks, track compliance with firm security standards, and follow up on identified gaps to ensure timely remediation. You will maintain visibility over risk levels and safeguard status using the firm’s security technology platforms, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
You will drive incident readiness by validating preparedness measures (e.g., plans, contacts, drills) and support real-time response to local incidents, escalating where needed. During global events, you will contribute to coordinated monitoring and response efforts, including handling safety-related outreach from firm members.
As part of the global firm Security team, you will: monitor global incidents and respond to safety-related inquiries from firm members in a timely manner; maintain and update risk and safeguard data in the global security platform, ensuring completeness and accuracy; and contribute to continuous improvement by documenting incidents, creating playbooks, and sharing lessons learned.
Your responsibilities may require availability outside standard working hours to support incident response and time-sensitive monitoring.
You will work closely with consulting teams, functional partners (HR, Technology, Legal, Office Services), and stakeholders across the firm Security team and broader geography, as well as external security peers. You will provide practical, actionable security guidance and translate firm Security policies into operational actions, ensuring effective implementation on the ground.
You will be based in Riyadh and will be part of the MEO office cluster and be attached to the global firm Security Team. Your Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (security, risk, international relations, political science, or a related field)
- 2+ years’ experience in security, project management, or analytical role in a corporate context preferred
- Experience living in the Middle East with prior employment in an international corporation or NGO is highly preferred
- Strong technical capabilities, with demonstrated curiosity and hands-on engagement with AI tools (including experimenting with and building custom solutions) are highly preferred
- You must be able to independently conduct inquiries into risks, threats, and hazards, and perform structured risk assessments with clear, actionable outputs
- You must be comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous situations, sometimes under considerable time pressure
- You should be digitally and data literate, with strong technical capabilities and a proactive approach to leveraging technology in your work.
- You will bring a strong values-driven approach, with integrity and accountability in all aspects of your work
- Highly collaborative, inclusive and open to giving and receiving feedback with strong problem solving skills and the ability to lead problem solving
- You are expected to demonstrate ownership from identification through resolution of issues, and to continuously learn and develop; performance will be measured across both delivery and growth
- Business level language skills in English and mandatory fluent level language skills in Arabic
