- Technical Solution Design
- Design and architect software solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business goals.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to define suitable solution approaches and design options.
- Conduct research to identify relevant technologies, tools, and methodologies that can improve solution delivery.
- Software Development & Implementation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of software applications, services, and technical components.
- Ensure development activities follow approved architecture, coding standards, and technical guidelines.
- Support the delivery of reliable software solutions that meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Technical Problem Solving
- Solve complex technical challenges and design practical solutions to address software development issues.
- Analyze root causes of technical problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Optimize software systems to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Product & Delivery Support
- Support the execution of software products and related initiatives, including planning, coordination, and delivery follow-up.
- Coordinate with product, project, and technical teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
- Support resource, timeline, risk, and dependency tracking for assigned technical workstreams.
- Technical Documentation & Recommendations
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and recommendations to support product plans and delivery decisions.
- Document technical designs, solution components, integrations, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
- Provide clear technical input to stakeholders to support decision-making and solution approval.
- Financial & Effort Assessment Support
- Contribute to the assessment of technical effort, implementation complexity, and expected delivery requirements.
- Provide input on cost estimation, resource needs, and technical feasibility for proposed solutions.
- Support evaluation of solution options based on technical value, delivery effort, and business impact.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure development, testing, and deployment activities follow approved best practices and quality standards.
- Validate that software solutions meet quality, security, performance, and maintainability expectations.
- Support testing, code review, and defect resolution activities to improve solution quality.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Technical Advisory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, project, development, testing, and operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance and advisory support to stakeholders on solution design and implementation matters.
- Communicate technical risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations in a clear and timely manner.
- Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Information Security
- Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Academic And Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in software development, solution design, technical consulting, or related fields.
