What You'll Be Doing
Role Overview: The Communications Trainee will provide operational support for core internal communications and engagement initiatives, especially on the One Chalhoub platform in alignment with KSA 2026 priorities. The trainee will assist with content creation, campaign coordination, employee engagement, and digital communications while progressively building skills and independence, guided by a mentor.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Support planning, logistics, and execution of internal employee events and engagement campaigns
- Assist in content creation for post-event coverage; draft and publish routine internal news, achievements, team updates, and announcements
- Maintain and update internal communications content calendar for KSA; ensure timely scheduling and campaign launches (One Chalhoub, newsletters, announcements)
- Provide operational support for One Chalhoub engagement activities following defined checklists and guidelines
- Coordinate employee question collection and workflow for leadership engagement videos as necessary; collaborate with leaders and internal comms for content recording and publishing
- Track platform analytics and engagement metrics for initiatives; gather feedback and propose process improvements
- Maintain templates, checklists, and pilot tracking for recurring projects
- Collaborate with mentor and cross-functional teams, participate in regular check-ins, and continually receive feedback
- Regularly publish, monitor, and enhance content/posts for One Chalhoub campaigns
- Prepare, review, and update templates, checklists, and trackers for operational engagement activities
- Draft and deliver routine internal comms materials (newsletters, announcements, event features)
- Track and report engagement metrics; generate summary insights
- Contribute feedback and recommendations for continuous process improvement
- Prepare handover summaries at program completion
- Strong written communication, organizational, and digital literacy skills
- Attention to detail, adherence to structured guidelines and templates
- Initiative, willingness to learn, and collaborative spirit
- Bilingual
- Reports to KSA Communications lead/mentor
- Receives clear operational guidelines and ongoing feedback
