Purpose of the position: As Commissioning Machinery Superintendent you will be part of the Onshore Operations within Commissioning Department.

Role Description

Mission

Organize, coordinate and control the execution of the mechanical works, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, ensuring the management of the interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments, overseeing the availability of the construction materials and equipment and verifying that works are correctly carried out in accordance with project documentation and schedule.

Tasks

• Supports the HSE Manager for the aspect falling within his are of responsibilities and for the preparation of the general HSE plan.
• Ensures that all the activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
• Actively contributes to Safety Walk downs. In case of incidents contributes to investigations.
• Follow up of completion and commissioning activities.

What are we looking for?

Education: University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

Background: Minimum of 10 year’s work experience

Languages: English, Arabic

Technical Knowledge

Significant experience in machinery commissioning activities

Significant experience in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/ Refinery.
